Ok, so you want to move to Barcelona in Spain?
Here’s things to work out before:

Contact an immobilizia agenzia which is a stately owned housing agency. Call them, pay the fee and get the service of them searching for housing for you. They hold most of Barcelonas apartments.
Terms to remember:
• Apartamento – One room apartment.
• Piso – Multi roomed apartment.

When you get down to Barcelona you’ll need to get 9 numbers. It’s for social security and is needed if you are going to get employed or get access to the library (card). You get that from the police station.

Plan to have at least a few weeks off work if you are going to move here. Things takes time and you’ll need money to manage yourself.
Say you want internet, it will take a while to get it. Until you get it at home you can still get access from the many locutorios or for free from the library (all you need is a passport number and an address, the latter which you can make up).

If you like second hand shops, vintage, indie, vegetarian or other “alternative” things I really recommend the inner city around Las Ramblas. It holds ‘Juicy Jones’ which is an vegan restaurant with extremely good natural juices. I love fruit juice.

A ten trip metro card costs 6.9 euro which I consider cheap (compared to Sweden).

We went to the agenzia and got our list.  They had found apartments that seemed to match our requirements better than we had dared to hope.

But when we called the owners they didn’t answer. So right now we are waiting for the agenzia to open up again, which they won’t do until Tuesday.

Tonight we will go to a vegetarian buffé and eat. Then we’ll probably go down to the beach. Here we got scattered clouds, and 23 degrees!

Yesterday we went to a “agenzia immobiliare” which is a housing agency, in short. We payed a 300 euros “servicia de información” in advance, and then today at 17:30 we are going back to the office to get a list of available apartments hand-picked to meet our requirements.

I can´t wait.

Until then, we will mostly be swimming in “mediterranea” and enjoying the varm and comfortable climate.

Cover for 'Daredevil: Born again'

‘Daredevil: Born again’ (1987) är skriven utav Frank Miller och tecknad utav David Mazzucchelli.

Den handlar om Matt Murdock/Daredevil vars liv just slagits i spillror utav stadens stora gangster, Kingpin. Kingpin har fått reda på vem mannen bakom masken är och har då alltså gett sig fan på att förstöra hans liv, vilket han lyckas ganska bra med. Matts fd flickvän Karen Page sålde Matts identitet för en sil heroin när hon kommit på avvägar i Mexiko.

Jag tycker att ‘Born again’ hade ett mycket spännande manus, och att Frank har lyckats bra med att utveckla karaktärerna samt med att behÃ¥lla den realistiska miljön. Davids minimalistiska stil passar Franks berättelse perfekt! Det känns väldigt klassiskt, precis som i ‘Year One’. Jäkligt bra, helt enkelt. Den levde helt klart upp till förväntningarna och hypen som följer den.

Jag lånade mitt ex på Serieteket i Stockholm, men jag tror att den finns och ladda hem från diverse torrent-sidor. Dock har jag inte hittat någon än!
